But Says He Doesn’t Want to “Prejudge”

Apparently Virginia Republican Randy Forbes, a senior member of the House Republican leadership has a problem with gay Republican candidates.

Forbes has waged a lengthy crusade to convince his colleagues and the National Republican Congressional Committee brass they shouldn’t back some gay candidates. His efforts on Capitol Hill were described to POLITICO by more than a half-dozen sources with direct knowledge of the talks.

Okay, this is not news, everyone knows there is hatred of the gay and lesbian community among some, not all and maybe not even a majority, but among some Republicans.  But what attracts attention is this.

When asked if he would withhold political contributions to the NRCC if they backed DeMaio, Forbes said, “I’m not going to be hypothetical on what we would or wouldn’t do at this particular point in time because you’ve got a lot of scenarios. I don’t think we’ve had primaries and nominations to nominate people. So I don’t want to prejudge.”

Gosh, Mr. Forbes engages in some of the worst type of prejudice, then states he doesn’t want to “prejudge”.  One would almost think he doesn’t know the meaning of the term “prejudice” or what signifies.  Could he be that ignorant?  Feel free to prejudge for yourself.
