Kansas Republicans Seek to Remove President Obama from the Presidential Ballot --He’s Just Not a True American

Exclusive Report on the Real Story Behind the Real Story

[Update:  The individual in Kansas who filed the complaint has withdrawn it, and the President is now expected to be on the ballot in Kansas a state where he will be promptly and completely defeated.  On the plus side apparently there are actions that are too extreme for even the most radical of right wing people to accept.]

The issue of whether or not Barack Obama is a natural born U. S. citizen just won’t go away.  Republicans in Kansas who control something called the State Objections Board will decide later on whether or not to remove Mr. Obama from the state’s Presidential ballot.

The State Objections Board comprised of Secretary of State Kris Kobach, Attorney General Derek Schmidt and Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer postponed until Monday action on a complaint filed by a Manhattan resident pending review of a copy of Obama's birth certificate from Hawaii.

Apparently one, and only one citizen complained to the Board that Mr. Obama’s was not eligible to be President of the United States, and so the Board naturally is considering, despite all evidence to the contrary whether or not this is the case.

The issue in Kansas is moot, Mr. Obama will not win Kansas even if he is on the ballot.  But the issue does illustrate the mind set of Republicans who think that maybe, just maybe they cannot defeat Mr. Obama in a real and honest election.

However this Forum has just learned that what the Republicans really want to implement is a standard under which no one who disagrees with their policy will be allowed on the ballot.  At a closed door fund raiser the leading Republicans in Kansas said this.

“In order to uphold the Constitution we can only allow actual Americans to run for office in this country.  This means Democrats will unfortunately be barred from the ballot, as they have proven time and time again that they are not real Americans.  Anyone who votes for a Democrat is deluded and misguided and therefore needs to be denied the opportunity to vote for anyone other than a Republican.  We think democracy will be upheld by the voting in the Republican primaries, which should be tantamount to election.”

Ok, no they didn’t say that, but they sure as heck think that.
