Job Growth in Massachusetts . . .

High Tax State Confounds Anti-Tax Arguments

The April employment picture in Massachusetts showed job growth and the unemployment rate at a 2 year low, reported the Boston Globe today.

Well not only is it nice to see job growth in the U.S. it is also nice to see that job growth can take place even in a high tax area, despite arguments by Conservatives that high taxes are job growth killers.  Since taxes are only one side of a two sided coin, the other side being government spending, the report is evidence of the fact that if public monies are spent wisely, you know, on education, infrastructure, law enforcement etc that can create an environment that furthers growth.
